Huge W&h Ting-tang Boardroom Clock.

Description

Not for the feint-hearted this one!. An outstanding and resplendant Boardroom clock by the World renowned maker WINTERHALDER & HOFFMEIER.

The caddy topped oak case has blind fretwork to the top and bottom with side opening doors, corner columns, and glazed opening front to the arched dial. It is nicely polished with an age-related patina.

The brass arched dial has gilt spandrels, matted centre and a silvered chapter ring with engraved black Roman numerals. There is a subsiduary rise and fall dial to the top.

The 8 day W&H movement has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12mth full parts and labour guaranteee. It strikes the quarters with a double "ting-tang" strike on a very heavy steel gong and the hours on a seperate heavy steel gong. It sounds magnificant.

A very imposing clock.
