Late C19th Chinese Qing Dynasty carved hardwood display stand of asymmetrical design.

Oblong Chinese carved ‘huali’ staged height display stand with asymmetrically arranged shelves . The friezes all with scroll carving and the uprights and joining stretchers all with gently-shaped profiles .

The shelves all of panelled form , with moulded edge surrounds.

The whole raised on integral carved ball feet .

Useful display shelves for a collection of Oriental or Chinese artefacts , or for use as a jardiniere plant stand . Excellent quality and grade of chosen timber with a rich patina. Some dark historic marks and rings to shelves , caused by variants of exposure to sunlight etc.
