Description

These Victorian toast racks are as popular today on the desk-top as they are on the breakfast table. Some are particularly suited to this use like these solid English Oak and silver plated ones, scarcer to find as each day goes by.

The solid Oak base stands on it's original four silver plated feet, coordinating with the silver plated upper mounts, all the plate is original and untouched. The makers mark can be found for the silversmith DANIEL & ARTER; established by Thomas Henry Daniel and Thomas Richard Arter at the Globe Nevada Silver Works, Highgate Street, Birmingham.

In excellent condition. The piece is a good size, perfect for today's larger mail or a good slice of warm toast! Measures 8" x 4" x 7 1/4" tall.
