Description

A fine quality mahogany Victorian Period pedestal desk by Maple & Co of London. Having a rectangular beautifully figured mahogany top with a raised galleried back, a red leather writing surface and having four secretarial slides. The front having an arrangement of nine mahogany lined drawers with fiddleback mahogany fronts, quality brass swan neck handles and hobbs & Co locks. One drawer is stamped Maple & Co, London. The ends and back finished beautifully with quality mahogany panels. Supported on Bracket feet. English circa 1900

Dimensions: 54" wide x 30" deep x 34" high (kneehole 25" high x 22" wide)

Condition: This desk is in lovely original condition, cleaned and waxed.
