Original Early 1900s English Country Farming Landscape Watercolour Painting
DESCRIPTION:
An original early 1900s Watercolour Painting Depicting a wonderful rural English farming countryside with period thatched buildings and two Cows grazing beside the water's edge.
Circa 1900-1920
Mounted within the original superb quality Gesso moulded frame which has been sympathetically restored.
The pierce appears to be unsigned, however, it is clear to see from these images that the artist was very talented indeed.
There are beautiful details throughout the painting, including the depiction of the surrounding countryside, the old thatched buildings, and the typical British cloudy sky.
It is a beautiful subject matter, and the artist has captured the mood wonderfully.
Offered in a wonderful original condition commensurate with age.
There are some minor foxing spores, and we believe that the frame would have originally been glazed, however, none of these minor imperfections detracts from the overall lovely presence of the piece.
