A very good imposing late 17thc early 18thc brass single candlestick...it has a deep socket and large ''acorn'' central knop and stands on an octagonal slightly raised base....it is a real transitional piece with the typical deep socket and large acorn knop coming from the end of the 17thc and the octagonal base from the first quarter of the 18thc....it is in very nice condition and turns up well...
French. C1680-C1720.
