Description

A lovely antique mahogany side table with attractive bow-front set on simple square chamfered legs and dating from the early 19th Century. Nice proportions with a moulded edge and a single long drawer with two round brass handles. Perfect as a side table or a small desk.

It is in very good condition for its age. It has been cleaned and gently re-polished and displays well with a nice rich colour. The drawer opens well and is generally clean and tidy inside with a few old marks. The handles are not original but suit the piece well. There are some minor signs of age and use, some light marks and knocks and a few old splits but nothing detrimental. There are some signs of historic woodworm in the back which have all been treated as a precaution and do not give us cause for concern.
