Camden Antiques has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
The writing surface is fitted with a sumptuous brown leather insert. Beneath is an arrangement of 3 long graduated drawers of pinched-serpentine outline and fitted with original pierced brass handles and escutcheons. All standing on elongated turned front feet in solid walnut. This superb bureau has been sympathetically revived, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. It is offered for sale in wonderful condition, with a rich colour and patina.
