3 Tier Chinoiserie Red Lacquered Occasional Table

1900 - 1920
Description

An unusual Chinoiserie red lacquer and decorated 3 tier occasional table. The circular top having a pierced and raised gallery with drapes and ties below. The interior having a typical hand painted Chinese scene with sailing junks, mountains, willow trees and Chinese buildings etc.. The table has 2 lower tiers with subtle decoration and brass edging. The whole supported on 3 ebonised and shaped legs with further cast brass embellishments. Condition - Overall good with very little signs of wear, the lowest tier has an old crease in the wood but is strong and fit for purpose. Dimensions:- Height…30.25’’/ 77cm. Diameter…18.5’’/ 47cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £40.
