This well-modelled and well-defined PAIR OF VICTORIAN BLACK & WHITE STAFFORDSHIRE DOGS, with gilt collars and padlocks, date from circa 1860. They are marked with a number 4 in relief to the bases.

The DOGS have very lively faces.

There is a hairline to the base of the left side DOG and an old surface chip to the toe of the right side DOG. There is no restoration.
