Description

Early 19th.c. Welsh oak potboard dresser base, South Wales c.1810. Two plank top over three drawers with cockbeaded fronts and turned and ebonized knobs. Graceful triple arch apron to the front, also cockbeaded and raised on good turned column supports. With a useful potboard display shelf below and an applied moulding around the base. Oak panelled sides, pine boards to the back panel and shelf. Excellent colour and condition, with an old patched repair to the top. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
