Description

This very nice antique leather multi hat case looks very decorative with it's aged leather which has a beautiful colour and antique travel labels.

The case which is a large size has nice details like 2 brass locks which are marked English Lever, a leather carry handle, is nicely monogrammed R.H.B and will store a set of hats like two toppers and an opera using the inside leather straps.

Dates from c1900.

Width: 35 cm (13 3/4") approx.

Depth: 29.5 cm (11 1/2") approx.

Weight: 4.18 kg.

Condition: Lots of age related wear with scuffs and scrapes. The leather has dried out and cracked in places leaving a wonderful natural aged look. Some water damage to the top and inside lid. The interior is in good condition with some light staining and fading. The clasps work fine but there is no keys. Some splits / broken stitches to edges. Handle has been repaired. One inside strap missing. Please see pictures.
