Description

Very pretty Minton coffee can c.1805 decorated with delicate brown spotted leaves and red berries branching off a thick stylised gilded vine. The decoration extends inside also an with gilded detail down the handle. Pattern number 85 is marked to the base.

It measures 6cm (2 3/8") high, 7cm (2 3/4") rim to rim and 9cm (3 1/2") rim to handle.

Condition is very good with no damage or restoration and very light surface wear. There is some kiln dust spotting inside around the edge of the base, a little underneath and a small amount near the base on the outside wall and around the lower handle terminal.
