Engraved and silvered chapter ring with applied stylized brass numerals. Separate dials for the seconds dial and chime indicators. Original pierced steel hands. Eight day movement (probably German) featuring Whittington and Westminster chimes striking a superb set of nine tubular bells (the longest being over 6 feet tall) of good deep tone. Can be easily set to silent if preferred

Oak case standing almost seven and a half feet tall. The arched top hood with twist carved columns repeated on the case. Carved detail to the body of the case, door and base. Glazed door revealing the chromed bells, three large brass weights and pendulum.

Excellent condition, the works have been overhauled and come with a 12 month guarantee. The case has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops, with key and winder supplied.
