A Good Near Pair of Victorian Period Carved Walnut Antique Armchairs

Description

A good near pair of Victorian Period carved walnut antique armchairs. Having a deep buttoned shaped backs above a generous sprung seat and serpentine seat rail. With open padded arms, all raised on floral carved cabriole supports with brass and porcelain castors. The chairs have been newly re-upholstered to a high standard in a Titley & Marr cotton fabric from the balmoral range. English circa 1860-1880

Dimensions: Plain seat 39" high x 29" wide x 23" deep (seat height 17") Buttoned seat 38" high x 29" wide x 24" deep (seat height 16")

Condition: The frames are in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed. Newly re-upholstered to a high standard in a Titley & Marr cotton fabric
