Carved Oak Bank of Drawers C.1890.

Description

Splendid late 19th.c. carved oak Wellington style chest of drawers c.1890. Useful narrow dimensions, just 35" wide. A bank of eight slim drawers held closed with the lockable right hand pilaster. Ideal as a collector’s cabinet or for clothes, filing, stationery, accessories etc. Crisply carved drawer fronts with scrolling foliate forms at the centre of which are brass lion’s mask handles. Large mouldings to the top and plinth, further carved detail to the uprights. Superior quality with solid oak sides and drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
