~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
A superb antique French clock by Japy Freres. It is very well made in gilt bronze in the Gothic style.
Above the dial is a motif of mythical creatures, an arch of fleur de lis and a spire towering above.

The dial is also gilt bronze with 12 individual enamel cartouches and blued steel hands.
The French movement is by Japy Frères and is of high quality with rack striking and pin-pallet escapement. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell.We have a video of the clock, please ask for a link.

Condition of the case is excellent, beautifully clean and bright just some minor marks and wear. The dial is also in excellent condition just some tiny nibbles next to the winding holes.
