An Omega "bumper" is a vintage Omega that has a "bumper" automatic movement rather than a full rotation rotor automatic. The oscillating weight makes a partial rotation before "bumping" into a cushioning spring.
The dial is original, unrestored and perfect. It has the original bowler hat crown all we have changed is the glass, the back seal and the mainspring.
The early Omega beads of rice bracelet is full length at 8 inches with all of the links still present.
Its slightly oversize at 35.5mm, this mark 1 model with the square date window was only made for 6 months before the dial was changed to one with the trapezoidal date window so its a very rare early Seamaster.
A new glass has been fitted and the case and bracelet has been professionally cleaned so it is in superb condition.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.

It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
