Description
This trio is from the second period 1891-1926. Belleek ceramics have been produced in county Fermanagh Ireland from 1863. the back stamps for the first and second period are both black and have the Irish wolfhound seated looking back at the tower and irish harp. The trio is in pristine condition , there is a small amount of gilding wear commensurate with age, however it has no chips cracks hairlines or restoration. There are a few darkened spots on the body of the cup , clearly photographed and simply a result of production . This is not a result of damage, the body of the cups and plate is exceptionally translucent this is an rare opportunity to obtain such stunning antique Irish trio. Cup approx. 9cm diameter x 5cm height saucer approx. 14cm diameter sideplate approx. 15 1/2 cm diameter The items are in Stratford upon Avon and can be viewed prior to purchase. I encourage buyers to view goods in person if at all possible, however I am always happy to answer enquiries and provide further details.
