Regency Rosewood Letter Rack Circa 1830

19th century
Description

Unusual late Regency figured rosewood letter rack of fan form with six compartments and a pierced back handle. All in original condition, but with crack to back board which has been repaired some time ago with thin wood plate to back. (see image 6). Great rich colour with fine waxed patina. Never seen anything quite like it before.

Size; 8.5" high, 12" wide, 5,5" deep.
