Description

A superb 19th Century serpentine French giltwood console table. The unusual pink toned marble sits above a pierced arched and shell carved frieze. The table stands on carved supports depicting winged dolphins and terminates with a serpentine shaped lower platform. The condition of the table is good, it stands well, evenly and securely. In places there is some wear to the gilding, this is not detrimental and only adds to the charm of this stunning piece. A very distinctive and decorative table to enhance any interior.
