The Antique Partnership has dated this French Marble Wine Table to the 19th Century.
This action is locked by a brass collar and screw at the top of the rosewood fluted column. The column itself is supported by a quatrefoil base with brass feet below. The whole piece is well proportioned and extremely smart. It is solid, heavy and stable. There have been losses to the rosewood veneer on the base which have been replaced in the past.
The top is 38 cm in diameter
The table stands 72 cm high and will extend to about 97 cm if desired.
