A Fine George III Flame Mahogany Bureau.

Description

A fine George III flame mahogany veneered bureau , the main flap open to reveal a fitted interior consisting of pigeon holes with six drawers below with a leather inset for writing.

Below the flap are four drawers consisting of two small top drawers with two longer drawers below. The bureau has the usual ink stains from use as a desk, there are some stains within the drawers below the flap from a past spillage.

This is an excellent piece of furniture and has fantastic colour and patination with wonderful patterns to the grain of the veneers.
