An Early 18th Century Walnut Chest of Drawers.

Description

A lovely early 18th century chest of drawers, constructed from oak, elm , Pine and veneered in walnut. The chest consists of two small drawers over three larger drawers all veneered in walnut and set in finely moulded boarders. The sides of the chest are pine with the top planks being oak supported by a heavy ogee moulded cornice around the top.

The chest has a heavy molded skirt around the bottom and stands on later finely turned elm bun feet.

This is a superb piece of furniture with fantastic colour and patination and is in excellent condition.
