An attractive and superb quality Victorian figured walnut and floral marquetry inlaid credenza. Of serpentine form and having a beautifully shaped and book matched walnut veneered top above the frieze which has ormolu mouldings and floral marquetry inlay, the serpentine shaped ends having conforming shaped glass with ormolu beading. The central door with black ground floral marquetry panel flanked on either side by marquetry inlaid bow fronted stiles with ormolu mounts and escutcheons. The whole stands on a serpentine shaped plinth with further ormolu mounts and the 3 doors open to reveal a fabric lined interior with shelves. Condition - Fine with working locks & keys.
