Description

A stunning antique rose gold photograph locket hand engraved on each side. Either side can be worn to the front - a heart cartouche engraved with the monogram CEG surrounded by a beautiful array of ivy leaves, or a beautiful scrolling floral pattern; in Victorian symbolism ivy represented enduring love, whether a deep friendship or a marriage.

Marked 9CT and JA&S.

The picture frame inserts are intact in both sides; the right hand side also contains a clear acetate.

In excellent antique condition with little sign of wear. The locket opens easily with a thumbnail and clicks shut securely.

Size: 2.3 x 2.7cm (including the bail). Total drop 3.5cm.
