In excellent antique condition, supplied with the original box pictured.
The dainty horse and rider are very finely painted - some of these paintings are carried out with a brush using a single hair to achieve such fine detail and the arduous process of cutting and grinding the cabochon, then engraving and painting the inside of the crystal would take hundreds of tools and many days of concentrated work.
Approx 8.5cm total length. The circular head is 2.2cm across.
