A large scale 17th century walnut open armchair. Displaying a grand rectangular back and seat upholstered in pointe d''Hongerie needlework, alternately Known as Bargello or flame stitch. Demonstrating foliate carved arms, uprights, and S-scroll legs joined by a later X-shaped stretcher and rounded feet.
 
 
Previously situated in the National Trust property of Nunnington Hall in ''The Oak Hall'' - see images.
