One has a large cartouche with a handsome armorial - this armorial is repeated on the base rim of the other. On the underside of the bases are the original pricked initials. The original use would have been for salt but due to the good capacity, the tubs lend themselves to a variety of table uses, such as mint sauce, cranberry, mayonnaise or parmesan. Beautiful pieces, both practical and decorative. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents, breaks or splits. The liners are undamaged.
Hallmarks :- Very soft. A Sterling lion to each and town mark and date letter to one.
Date :- Sheffield 1776.
