Oak Thornton-smith Company Cricket Ball Bookends

1920 - 1940
Description

This handsome set of 1930's Art Deco oak bookends are in the form of cricket stumps with each one having a mini bat and ball. The detail is excellent and these items that were handmade by the Thornton-Smith Company in the 1930's still have the original label on the base of one.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with some light signs of use in keeping with age. A couple of small nibbles, chips and bruises.
