Description

A solid mahogany and satinwood banded Edwardian Period pedestal desk. The rectangular solid mahogany top banded in satinwood and with an inset olive green leather writing surface with gilt and blind tooled detail. The front having an arrangement of nine mahogany lined drawers each with satinwood banding, fine quality brass swan neck handles with Hobbs & Co, London locks and working key. The ends and back also in the finest quality mahogany and banded in satinwood. Supported on a solid mahogany plinth with concealed inset brass and porcelain castors. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 54" wide x 29" deep x 30" high (knee hole 23" wide x 24" high)
