Description

West persian sarouk long rug/runner with six cartouche medallions divided by floral palmettes. Note the powder blue palmettes to each corner of the main guard stripe. Unusual light charcoal field colour.

Has been hand washed,last two images. Plenty images to peruse.

All over low velvety pile with subtle tinted wear throughout. Complete fringe losses both ends and reinforced from rear with conservators tape. Side cords good.

Size is 11 foot 5 inches by 3 foot 7 inches. 348cm by 110cm. At widest points. Velvety wool pile hand knotted onto cotton foundations.
