Description

This antique bead necklace is lifted out of the ordinary because of its fabulous clasp! Four super-sparkly pastes are mounted in silver atop a solid rose gold box with tongue clasp. Although it's rather Art Deco in style we believe it's actually a little earlier.

In very good antique condition. The clasp works perfectly and clicks shut securely, shows light surface wear under magnification. The beads have some age-related surface imperfections but we've found no significant chips or cracks.

Length: Approx 19 inches.

Each bead is 1cm diameter.

The clasp measures 6 x 2.2cm. It has been tested to confirm it is nine-carat gold and is marked WVLS on the back.

Declaration

Corvidae Antique has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
