Description

Good late Victorian oil on canvas of Highland Loch scene with sheep in foreground fully signed by William Langley, fl 1890-1920. Painting in fine original condition with no repairs or over-painting and contained in gilt frame. Langley is a well known landscape painter of Scotland, Wales and West Country though he did not exhibit. Possibly a pseudonym for Daniel Sherrin. This is a fine typical example of his work.

Size; 26" x 18" (canvas size 20" x 12".
