For your consideration is this rare 3d figure styled in the fashion of the day with slick back wavey hair to the large collared overcoat of what looks to be either a scientist or engineer. Signed to the side by the Artist L Frizzi and inscribed to the front Galli & Cassina. Galli & Cassina were an Italian company providing valves for the oil and gas industry, the company was founded in 1919.

A genuinely outstanding Modernist piece , which is a perfect addition for any Modernist or industrial design collector. We believe this piece was originally affixed perhaps to a wall and highly likely a decorative piece made specifically for the interior of the Galli & Cassina building / business premises, in that light it's also a piece of architectural interest and most likely a unique one off piece or one of a handful either way very rare. Great size to display and one not to be missed, try find another! A wonderful example of progressive 1920's / 1940's design. Condition is very good with some minor chips to the slate base, we can sort this free of charge if you don't mind waiting on the delivery which will be extended by a week or so while restored or can leave as is, it's not unsightly.
