Attractive Quality Smooth Centred Brass Engraved Dial with Silvered Chapter Ring and Date Aperture Signed Nathaniel Kirk of Kibworth (Leicestershire) and Numbered 47. Kirk is listed as working c1760-c1785. Quarter Spadrels with Urn Decoration very similar to Figure 17.13 on page 33 of Brian Loomes book - Grandfather Clocks and their cases - circa 1730-1765. The 30 Hour Movement has been Checked, Oiled and Tested to be in Full and Good Antique Working Condition. Height 80.6in (6ft 8.6in) or 205cm. Base width 46cm and depth 25cm.
