Antique Solid Silver Photo Frame Hallmarked 1919

1900 - 1920
Description

A good quality Sterling Silver photo frame with a simple plain square border and a wooden easel design back.

It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1919 although the maker's stamp is difficult to make out.

Approximate Measurements :

Frame Width : 3 3/4" (9.5cm)

Frame Height : 5 3/4" (14.5cm)

Picture Window : 3" (8cm) x 5" (13cm)

It is in good condition for its age and the easel back is in good solid order. The silver frame is by no means perfect and does have some signs of age, some dents, marks and the silver has worn on the corners but overall it does display nicely with an antique look. The silver has been gently cleaned and polished and the frame is ready for use.
