In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1889. The makers mark is visible but hard to fully make out.
It is in good condition given its age and it displays well.
There are some small splits around the pouring spout, an old repaired split in the wooden knob and on the wooden handle. It has a nice antique used and loved look and it has been gently cleaned and polished is now ready for use.
