Antique Mahogany Military Campaign Chest of Drawers

19th century
Description

A wonderful mahogany military chest dating from the late 19th Century. Typical of campaign furniture it has a flush finish with recessed brass handles. It is excellent quality with a lovely patination to the mahogany and turned feet. The drawers are all oak lined.

They are in very good condition for their age. The drawers are generally clean and tidy and open well and the back is good and solid. There are some signs of age and use picked up over the years, some surface marks, light scratches and minor knocks and a chip missing off the back of the bottom molding (see photo) but overall they display very well and are strong and sturdy.
