Description

Large antique Swedish Satin Birch pedestal desk in excellent condition & of the finest quality. I would date this desk to around the 1860-80’s period & it’s just been French polished. It’s a good size with a generous kneehole space & has a tooled leather writing surface. The back is polished, so it’s free standing & it comes apart into three sections. There are sliding drawers inside the left hand cupboard & a shelf in the right hand one. All the drawers have fine dovetails & locks & we will provide keys. This desk is Biedermeier style & the satin birch grain pattern is stunning as well as the colour.
