19th Century Continental Porcelain Scent Bottle

Description

This beautifully hand-painted CONTINENTAL PORCELAIN SCENT BOTTLE dates from circa 1860.

There is an incised free-style letter G to the base. It was possibly made in Paris.

The floral garlands are a delight.

Apart from some wear to the gilt and some small chips to the base of the stopper, the SCENT BOTTLE is in good condition. There is no restoration.

Height: 6.5 inches (16.5 cm)
