Antique Wall Clock

Description

A rosewood and brass inlaid dropdial fusee wall clock. The original side carvings and fine brass inlays to the case. A glass and gilded brass pendulum aperture. A cast brass bezel to the 12" painted dial with fleur-de-lys hands. An 8-day duration fusee mechanism.

Manning of Malvern is recorded in Loomes' 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World' book as working in Great Malvern in 1860. They also worked in Worcester from 1823.

Height 26 " / 65cms Depth 5 " / 13cms Width 16" / 41cms.
