in mahogany with chequered marquetry inlays to the edge. An architectural pediment with central brass finial. A very well engraved silvered dial with slide adjuster and thermometer. An opening door with choice grain veneers.
The dial is signed 'R C London Fecit'. This example dates to circa 1810.
