Description

Fine quality 19th.c. burr walnut bookcase or side cabinet c.1870. Just 32? wide, two door cabinet with glazed doors, fitted inside with two shelves retaining the original velvet lining fabric and brass trim. Beautifully figured burr walnut veneers across the top and front, laid onto solid walnut groundwork. With raised mouldings and applied carving to the door fronts. Paper label to the rear for John Taylor cabinet makers of Coney Street York. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
