The tooled black leather lined fall opens to reveal a well fitted interior consisting of 8 pigeon holes with 3 shallow drawers above. Below are 2 banks of 4 drawers each retaining their original brass axe head handles. The centre cupboard with lock and key and opens to a drawer interior with tall deed drawers to each side.The top section having a broken arch pediment with gilded metal bird above the moulded frieze. The 2 glazed doors with applied mouldings and open to a further fitted interior with 3 adjustable shelves, pigeon holes, 3 drawers and 2 candle slides. The whole raised on shaped bracket feet with working locks and keys. Condition throughout very good with a fine mellow patina, transports in 3 pieces. Dimensions:- Height... 96'' / 244cm.
