Description

Fine late 17th. century oak coffer with three paneled front having originally carved diamonds and finely carved frieze. Paneled sides and back and with plain cleeted top. Stands well off the ground with high legs. Original iron lock plate, but hasp missing. Old but not original strap hinges (originally had pin hinges). All fine condition with no splits. Great rich colour with fine waxed patina.
