Description

A finely carved 19th century Chinese hardwood large plate or charger stand, depicting two scaled dragons, their entwined bodies with heads down and tails reaching the top of the stand creating large opening for a plate or charger.

There is great detail to the carving, it is a highly decorative piece and could also make a wonderful mirror surround with a circular bevelled glass.
