Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

An Atmos clock is a mechanical timepiece developed by Jaeger-LeCoultre that derives operating energy from small atmospheric temperature and pressure fluctuations. A sealed internal capsule containing ethyl chloride expands and contracts with ambient shifts, continuously winding the mainspring.

These timepieces consist of precision brass mechanical movements housed within a heavy brass cabinet plated in rhodium, nickel, or gold. The structure is enclosed with bevelled glass panels to allow visibility of the internal pendulum mechanism.

Authentic examples feature maker markings on the dial and movement face, along with a stamped serial number located on the top frame of the mechanism. The presence of the distinctive expansion bellows at the rear further verifies authenticity.

The silver-toned rhodium finish and clean glass enclosure complement contemporary minimalist aesthetics. Position the clock on a marble mantelpiece, an executive office desk, or a timber sideboard to highlight its mechanical design.

The clock must sit on a level surface adjusted via the built-in spirit level and adjustable feet. Always lock the pendulum mechanism prior to moving the clock, and keep the unit away from direct heat sources and strong draughts.
