An English 8 day Mahogany George III Longcase Clock With Strike/Silent By Ed Hunsdon. The 12 -inch brass dial with strike/silent in the breakarch. The clock measures 92''(2330mm) in maximum height. In addition to the strike/silent there is repeation work providing 3 modes of striking; on the hour, at will and silent. The clock is imposing and finely proportioned with well figured mahogany veneers, sound fret int the pagoda front. Edward Hunsdon worked from Chelmsford from 1730-82
