Description

A good sized Matt Gilt Strike/push Repeat Carriage Clock by Henri Marc c1860
The Matt Gilt case in a Canalee style was especially made for the English market having the spelling of Hry Marc on the perfectly white undamaged porcelain dial instead of the French spelling of Henri.
This is further shown in the English spelling of "Hands" to the backplate and the letters "S" and "F" ( slower and faster) instead "A" Avance and "R" Retarder.
The rack striking movement with push repeat and fully jewelled platform escapement has been fully overhauled by me personally and comes with a full three years guarantee for your peace of mind.
With over twenty five years experience in restoring and conserving clocks and working on some of the finest and complicated clocks for a select group of the best antique clock dealers in the country.

Each clock has been expertly restored to the highest of standards by myself.
